You're my friend

One sunny day, there were two girl sat inside the public transportation. The long hair girl named Tara, 17 years old. And the boyish-look girl one named Kiara, 17 years old too. They were a best friend from the kindergarten. Tara’s home near by Kiara’s home. They often hang out together although they were in different school.

That was a very hot day. After school, Tara and Kiara went to the book store together. Tara wanted to buy new Breaking Dawn novel. It’s her favorite tetra logy novel, and it’s the last edition. Along the way, Tara seems didn’t comfortable.
She always fluttered her notebook. The wind like didn’t want to come inside to that full-seat-car. And similar with Tara, Kiara felt so hot and getting bored. The public car’s driver still waiting for another passengers. But, the car was already full.

“Oh come on! What is he waiting for? The car already full,” mumbled Kiara impatient.

“I don’t know. Oh I think I gonna dehydrate,” answered Tara faintly.

Finally, the car moved out after fifteen minutes. Tara opened the car window to let the fresh air come inside. Along the way, Tara and Kiara were talking about their school. Tara told Kiara about Andrew, her close friend whose she like. Andrew is basketball captain team and most of girl in Tara’s school like him. And actually, Andrew is Kiara’s friend at junior high school. Kiara listened to Tara seriously. Tara has a plan to tell about her feeling to Andrew on Andrew’s birthday. But, Tara doubt to her plan.

“I think I like him very much. I don’t know how to say I like you to him,” said Tara pessimist.

“But in my opinion, you’d better tell him that you like him sooner before it’s too late,” shout Kiara.

“I’m not sure I can do that. I don’t brave enough to say first,” mumbled Tara.

“All you. I don’t want you feel regret ‘cause you didn’t do it,” answered Kiara slowly. Tara is getting confuse.

     After thirty minutes, they arrived into the book store. Tara and Kiara came inside to the book store quickly. Kiara seems smiling after entered the book store.

“Thanks God. So fresh inside,” yelled Kiara. Tara just smile to heard that.

Tara started search the novel, and Kiara just looking around for the bookself. Suddenly, Tara found horoscope book. She felt so curious and read it. Tara searched her zodiac, and read it. “You should follow your heart to find your true love.” Tara smiling, and continue read. “This month, you’ll in a trouble with your closest people. But you in a luck. Whatever you’ll fight, you are determine your fate alone.” Tara stop read and ignore all last sentences. She is thinking the first sentence. “You should follow your heart to find your true love.”

“Have you found the novel?” asked Kiara. Tara shocked.

“Emmm I can’t find it. Probably, it’s has been sold out,” answered Tara lying.

“Ohh how poor are you. What book is that?” point Kiara to the book in Tara’s hand.

“Oh it’s nothing. Do you wanna go home now?”

“Sure. I’m hungry.”

Along the afternoon, Tara is always thinking about Kiara’s advice. She didn’t know what will she do. Meanwhile, Andrew’s birthday came soon. Tara just have two days left to prepared the surprise for Andrew. In her dizziness, her mobile phone rang loudly. Tara was surprised, and take it with a bored face. “Who is calling? It’s so bother,” mumble Tara badly mood.

“Hello, it’s Tara speaking.”

“Hi Tara. It’s me, Andrew.”

“Oh My God!! What should I say?” shouted Tara in her mind.

“Hellooo. Tara, you still there?” asked Andrew.

“Emm yeah, Andrew. I’m still here,” answered Tara nervous.

“Are you alright? Why you went home earlier this morning?” asked Andrew caring.

“Sure I’m okay, Andrew. I went to the book store with Kiara. What’s the matter?”

“emmm nothing. I’ve planned to asked you to go to the book store with me. But you went earlier,” answered Andrew disappoint.

“ooh I’m so sorry. Maybe next time, Andrew,” said Tara guilty.

“No no no problem, Tara. I’ve go to the book store alone. I heard that you searching for Breaking Dawn novel, aren’t you?”

“How possibly you know that?” asked Tara strangely.

“I know everything about you, Tara. Hehehehehe,” said Andrew chuckled.

“ooh how dare you. Hahaahhaa.”

They were talking along the night. And next morning, Tara told to Kiara about Andrew. Kiara looks unhappy, but she still listened to Tara. Kiara helped Tara to make a plan for Andrew’s birthday. Tara made strawberry shortcake, Andrew’s favorite cake, and plan to give him an action figure of Kobe Bryan, his basketball favorite player.

And Andrew’s birthday is coming up. Tara and Kiara went to Andrew’s house. Tara brought the prize and Kiara brings the cake. But on the way, Kiara got an accident and fell down the cake. Tara so angry with her.

“Are you wanna broke my plan? I really disappoint with you!!” screamed Tara and leave Kiara alone.

Kiara felt guilty, and immediately chase Tara to apologize. But Tara gone so fast. Kiara planed to go to Tara’s home next morning.

But next morning, Kiara forgot apologize to Tara. Kiara felt so guilty and decide to apologize tonight. And again, Kiara forgot it and decide to apologize next morning. It’s repeated again, again and again for few days. And finally, Kiara met Tara accidently. Tara were walked with Andrew. Kiara was shocked, and tried to stay calm down.

“Tara, may I talk with you a second, please?” asked Kiara slowly.

“Just say it,” answered Tara with a bad face.

“Please accept my apologies. I’m regret,” said Kiara.

“I really disappoint with you. But you know, I’ve been waiting for your apologize. And you too late,” said Tara and walk away left Kiara alone.

Kiara was so sad. “How stupid I am! How possibly I pended my apologize to my best ever friend?” said Kiara on her mind.

After that incident, Kiara and Tara never met again for a long time. Kiara always thought that Tara is forget her.

But at last, Tara knew that Kiara always help Andrew to make Tara happy. Kiara always told Andrew everything which Tara like. And Andrew was told Tara that Kiara ever like him at junior high school. Now, Tara realized that Kiara gave away to herself so that Tara could be Andrew’s girlfriend.

That night, Tara knocked out Kiara’s house door. Kiara got surprised for Tara’s coming. Tara almost cried to see Kiara.

“Tara, what are you doing? Let’s come inside,” said Kiara awkward. Tara came in and sat at the sofa. Suddenly, Tara hug Kiara and started cry.

“I’m so sorry, Kiara. I regret. How stupid I am. Forgive me please,” cried Tara.

“No, Tara. I’m the mistaken. I’m sorry for broke your plan, I’m sorry for late apologize, I’m sorry I’m a mistaken girl,” said Kiara regret.

They cried together that night. And from that day, Tara started to keep away from Andrew and more closer with Kiara, her best friend.

“It’s easy to find a boyfriend, but I realize, it’s so hard to find better friend than you,” said Tara to Kiara.

“And I won’t apologize too late anymore. I promise. Apologize is the necessary thing ever in the world for me,” replied Kiara. They laughing and continue walking to their home.
